Summary:
On behalf of the California Air Resources Board, the Center for Sustainable Energy administrates point-of-sale rebates of up to $7,000 for the purchase or lease of a new all-electric or plug-in hybrid electric vehicle through the California Vehicle Rebate Project (CVRP).
Vehicles eligible for Consideration:

*Due to recent price increases, Tesla vehicles are no longer eligible for CVRP. Tesla orders placed on or before March 15, 2022 may qualify.
Requirements:
· Be an individual, business*, nonprofit or government entity that is based in California or has a California-based affiliate at the time the rebated vehicle is purchased or leased.
· Meet income eligibility requirements at the time application is received.
· Submit a CVRP application prior to exhaustion of available rebate funds and within three months of the vehicle purchase or lease date† and while funds are available.
