First-come, first-serve program. Up to $15,000 rebate for the installation of qualifying chargers.

Dates:

Open to new applications. If no funding is available this period, applicants will be placed in a waitlist for next year's round.

Summary:

The Commercial EV Charging Station Rebate Program provides rebates to Burbank Water and Power (BWP) commercial customers to offset some of the costs of purchasing and installing qualified EV charging stations, including Level 2 charging stations and DC fast chargers. Level 1 charging stations deployed in common areas of multi-family residences may also qualify for a rebate.

Qualifying Projects:

· DC fast chargers

· Level 2 chargers

· *Level 1 chargers (must be in a publicly accessible in multi-family dwellings)

Requirements:

· Must be a BWP customer. This includes commercial, industrial, and public agencies.

· Eligible sites (“premises”) must take electric service from BWP on a non-residential rate schedule. These include common areas of multi-family residences, workplaces, retail/public charging locations, and commercial fleet charging operations.

· Have network/Wi-Fi capability and be addressable by an EV charging network participating in the program (i.e., qualifying charging stations must be always connected to the EV charging network).
