Summary:

To reduce greenhouse gas emissions and meet customer demand for more electric vehicle chargers in the region, SDG&E plans to install chargers at or near apartments and condominium complexes at about 100 locations over two years. Among the sites selected, 50% will support underserved communities as those defined by California Assembly Bill 841.

Qualified Equipment:

Level 2 Chargers

Requirements:

· Must own or lease the property where chargers are installed and can attest to using the site for 5 years

· Must own and maintain the EV chargers

· Charging infrastructure may be placed within 0.5 miles of the apartment or condo in a space where both sites will benefit from the EV charger installations. (i.e., community centers, shopping centers, libraries, movie theaters, etc.)

· Must be installed SDGE qualified vendors.
