Funding:

· $1,500 rebate per level 2 charging stations. Up to $2,000 per charging station for qualifying multifamily affordable housing.

· $10,000 rebate per the installation of DCFC stations. $15,000 per charging stations at qualifying multifamily affordable housing

Summary:

The Eugene Water & Electric Board is offering rebates through their Smart Charge program. Rebates are offered for the installation of level 2 and DCFC stations at business, workplace, fleet, or multifamily housing site buildings (5 units or more).

Qualified Equipment:

· Level 2 Charging Stations

· Direct Current Fast Charging Stations (DCFC)

Requirements:

· Applicant must have the authority to direct and install.

· An application must be submitted to EWEB within 120 days from the date of installation.

· Must be installed at the applicant's address and must be for public use at your business, workplace, fleet, or multifamily housing site. Internal fleet installations do not have to be for public use to qualify. Multifamily must be a site with 5 or more units. Multifamily affordable housing site qualification will be verified after application submittal.

· Rebate is up to 50% of the EVSE hardware and installation costs.

· Network provider must adhere to the Open Automated Demand Response (Open ADR) 2.0 Standard.

· Must be certified and listed under a Nationally Recognized Testing Laboratory, including Underwriters Laboratories (UL) or Electrical Testing Laboratories (ETL).

Level 2 Charger

· Must be a 208/240V, and have a power output capacity of 30 amps minimum, and equipped with the SAE J1772 standard connector plug.

DCFC

· Must have a power rating of at least 50 kW and equipped with the CCS or CHAdeMO standard connector plug.
